Bengaluru: In a sudden order on Wednesday, the Karnataka government transferred and posted IPS officer Kushal Chouksey as the Superintendent of Police (SP) for the Chitradurga district. The order has raised eyebrows as Chouksey was one of the officers appointed by the Karnataka High Court on September 21 to the newly-formed Special Investigation Team (SIT), led by DGP Alok Kumar, to probe the alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). ‘Height of foolishness…’: Kumaraswamy flays CM Shivakumar over ‘shutting down KPSC’ remarkInterestingly, on August 29, Chouksey was among the many officers who were part of a major reshuffle by the state government led by Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
