How did DKS, kin purchase land notified for a project, asks HDK 

Bengaluru: Continuing his unrelenting campaign against Chief Minister D K Shivakumar over the latter’s alleged role in the NICE project scam, Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Saturday sought to know how the CM and members of his family had managed to get their hands on land notified by the government for an infrastructure project.  Pointing to a property worth Rs 2,000 crore near the Hosakerehalli toll plaza on NICE road, Kumaraswamy asked, “Who does the Sobha apartment complex near Hosakerehalli toll plaza belong to? What is the connection between Shivakumar, his brother D K Suresh and the apartment complex? Who are Amasse Gowda, Bhagyalakshmi and Kempegowda?”  Karnataka drought: Farmers facing severe hardship, says CM DK ShivakumarAccusing Shivakumar and his family members of forcibly acquiring land by threatening property owners, Kumaraswamy asked, “How was it possible for the CM, and his family members to purchase land notified for a project by the government?”  The Union Minister further said that he had been approached by some people, pleading him to stay silent on the NICE road scam. “I told them that I cannot be bought,” said Kumaraswamy, reiterating his willingness to fight for those who lost their land to the project.  “If the people remain united, I will save the project for the state,” he added.
