Television actor Vijayendra Kumeria, known for his roles in shows like Udaan and Naagin 4, has announced his separation from wife Preeti Bhatia after 14 years of marriage.Kumeria confirmed that they have been living separately since 2022.Citing compatibility issues as one of the reasons for the divorce, Kumeria said he chose to remain silent all the years because he needed time to process things before making the matter public.In an interview with Telly Talk India, Kumeria clarified that the decision was not taken overnight and that it was mutual.”Such decisions are not taken overnight. We started having a lot of differences and compatibility issues, which escalated over time. It’s not that we didn’t try to resolve our issues, but eventually things didn’t work, and we separated in 2022. But I think it’s better for Kimaya as well to experience love from both parents separately instead of growing up in an unhappy environment. Like any parent, we want the best for her, and that’s what we are doing,” Kumeria added.The reports of their troubled marriage first began back in 2023. However, at the time, Kumeria didn’t publically address the matter.Meanwhile, on the work front, Kumeria was most recently seen in Colors TV’s Juhi Mui, where he starred as Inspector Sanyam Singh alongside Eisha Singh. The show, which premiered on June 29, went off-air in just about three months.
