The Karnataka government has sought details of people from the state who are stranded in Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) following severe flash floods and disruptions along the border and adjoining areas.The Revenue Department’s Secretariat of Disaster Management said in a post on X that it was collecting information on stranded persons to facilitate rescue, evacuation and other assistance.”Stranded persons, relatives and tour operators are requested to provide details through the Google Form,” it said.The information will help the state government coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs, the Embassy of India in Nepal and the Embassy of India in Beijing, it said.Nepal flash floods: At least 157 killed; hundreds more, including Indians, missing People seeking assistance have been asked to contact the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) at 1070 or 080-22253707.Separately, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge shared the Indian Embassy’s emergency helpline numbers for Indian nationals affected by the floods in Nepal.
