New Delhi: Rubrik, a security and AI operations company, on Wednesday announced Rubrik Code Guardian, a new service that leverages Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 AI model to scan customer source code for security vulnerabilities.The service works exclusively on air-gapped copies of a customer’s code repository.Rubrik launches Agent Cloud to help enterprises deploy AI agents securelyAccording to Rubrik, this approach enables the AI model to identify multi-step vulnerability chains—sequences of weaknesses that attackers could combine—and to validate whether those chains are actually exploitable before flagging them. Rather than simply listing potential issues, Code Guardian prioritizes the multi-step attack paths an adversary would be most likely to exploit, confirms their exploitability, and converts confirmed critical findings into tracked remediation items. “Frontier models are advancing at a fast pace. In the wrong hands, these models can be used to discover, chain, and exploit vulnerabilities at machine speed,” said Arvind Nithrakashyap, co-founder and chief technology officer at Rubrik. “To move just as fast, we are using frontier AI to scale vulnerability detection faster than our traditional code scanning tools.” Anthropic framed the partnership as part of its effort to put advanced cyber capabilities in the hands of defenders. “Rubrik is one of the partners we are working with to put Claude Mythos 5’s cyber capabilities in defenders’ hands, so they can find and validate attack paths before attackers do,” said Michael Moore, cybersecurity lead at Anthropic.  “Rubrik will use the model to test code faster and at far greater scale, and to bring cyber resilience up to the speed of AI, ” Moore said.
