NDPS drive: 132 schools, colleges checked in north div

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru city police conducted a special drive around schools and colleges in the North Division on Saturday to prevent the sale and the consumption of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.The drive was carried out across the jurisdiction of 13 police stations, during which 132 educational institutions – 80 schools and 52 colleges – were checked.Police also sensitised the public to report information related to the sale or consumption of narcotic substances to the concerned police station, Namma-112, the KSP app or the National Narcotics Helpline (1933).
