Actor and comedian Jamie Lever took to social media to put an end to the viral speculation claiming her alleged wedding to Yashvardhan Ahuja, son of Bollywood star Govinda.Sharing a video, Jamie refuted the news and called out the deepfake videos that show her in bridal attire alongside Yashvardhan. She further clarified that the clips are completely fake and the wedding news is completely baseless.Talking about how it all started, Jamie said that she originally saw the fabricated clip as a harmless joke.”Initially, I found it quite funny and enjoyed it. My cousins and I were sending the videos to each other and laughing a lot. But now it has reached a point where I’m getting a lot of calls from people congratulating me.” View this post on Instagram
Bringing a humorous angle to her statement, Jamie quipped that the AI-generated clips were starting to disrupt her personal life by deterring genuine marriage prospects.”All these videos and the information are fake. It has started causing a bit of a problem because… the genuine marriage proposals that were coming my way have also stopped coming.
