Prajaseva campaign to start Sept 5

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar’s pet Prajaseva citizen connect campaign will start on September 5 from Kudligi hobli in Vijayanagar district.“The Prajaseva Abhiyana will be an integrated system for directly hearing citizens’ grievances and providing redress either on the spot or within a specified time frame,” Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh said in a statement.On the first and third Saturdays of every month, meetings will be held at taluk headquarters under the chairmanship of the district in-charge minister. On the second and fourth Saturdays, meetings will be organised at the taluk/hobli level under the chairmanship of the local MLA.Belagavi: Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh orders probe into delay in pro-Kannada resolution“Citizens will be informed about Prajaseva Abhiyana meetings at least 15 days in advance through house-to-house distribution of pamphlets,” Shalini said.”The government has developed a multi-faceted, data-driven and paperless software system called the Integrated Public Grievance Redressal System (IPGRS) under the Department of Prajaseva,” she said.Citizens can also register their grievances through the helpline number 1902 or through ipgrs.karnataka.gov.in
